The following presents a set of screenshots by which you can set a webfolder link to the folder on the server which contains all the downloadable files from circle-of-excellence.com. Webfolders may or may not be working on your PC, and so may or may not be available to you. Personally, I needed to add a Microsoft update file to get them working on my computer. But once they are, if you have a web address to a server that uses web folders, downloading many files at once becomes relatively easy. *NB1: The componet that I needed was: Software Update for Web Folders (KB907306). If you click here, you can download the update from the Microsoft support site...* NB2: You may also need to add circle-of-excellence.com as a trust web site... STEP01: In Windows Vista, double click on the My Computer icon, and you should see a screen that looks as follows... STEP02: Right Click in the Window and ask to Add a Network Location (as shown below)... STEP03: The Add Network Location wizard should start up (as shown below)... STEP04: Ask to Choose A Custom Network Location (as shown below)... STEP05: Type in the address of the web folder (as shown below)... (Or copy and paste the location uisng ctr-c and ctr-v, the location being: http://ls.net.marjon.ac.uk/bbcswebdav/xid-4159_1) STEP06 Either use the default name provided, or type in a new name for the location, like that shown below (as shown below)... STEP07: The process should now come to an end (as shown below)... STEP08: Whenever you clock on the link that you have created, you should connect to the server, in a READ ONLY connection... STEP09: You can now drag and drop folders to your desktop, or you can RIGHT CLICK on folders in order to EXPLORE and drag and drop subfolders or specific files (as shown below)...
